In 2011, the famous Blum Swatch Collection was auctioned by Phillips de Pury & Company in Hong Kong. As part of this auction, Lot 7 offered the unique opportunity for someone to design their own Swatch watch — "My Swatch: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a real Swatch watch in a limited edition of (only!) 100 pieces."
Four European Swatch collectors (from Switzerland, Spain and Germany) jointly acquired this lot.
After a four-year design process, Swatch produced the New Gent OUR SWATCH QUATTRO (Ref. SUOZ194S) in 2015, delivered in special packaging and limited to 100 numbered pieces. Each watch features a uniquely marbled caseback - something Swatch had never done before, apart from prototypes. OUR SWATCH QUATTRO was never commercially sold and is therefore a truly remarkable exceptional Swatch rarity. The piece on offer here is number 091/100.
