An exquisite pocket watch with jumping centre seconds "Seconde Morte" - with original box
Case: 18k gold. Dial: enamel. Movm.: bridge movement, 2 barrels, three-arm steel balance.
The case was very finely decorated with the hand engraving of an elderly woman giving a handout to a disabled soldier amongst rubble and ruins.
