Case: 18k gold, push back, Vacheron & Constantin 18k gold buckle. Movm.: 1/2 plate movement, Glucydur screw balance.
This timepiece was launched in 1990 as part of the "Les Historiques" range; the design of the watch is undoubtedly a homage to the famous 4140 made in the 40s, with identical day and month displays using windows on the dial, the peripheral date and the moonphase indicator. Only very few examples of this model were made, with the manual winding calibre 1150 in yellow gold or platinum cases.
