A highly elegant astronomical Vienna regulator with perpetual calendar and moon age
Case: walnut with Buxbaum inlay. Dial: enamel. Movm.: brass plate movement, two teeth barrels, anchor escapement, brass pendulum, knife edge suspension with adjusting device.
The dial is surrounded by rays of light; together with the complicated movement it swings back and forth in front of the rear panel, which has been ornamented with exquisite marquetry. This is a fine and elegant piece for any collector of antique regulators.
