Case: silver. Dial: silvered. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, gold screw compensation balance.
The execution and quality of this deck watch made by "Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe" show that it was created in the tradition of Lange & Söhne; it is one of the first calibre 48 watches ever that "Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe" produced themselves. Up until 1956 GUB was able to rely on ébauches by Lange & Söhne - these were easily distinguishable by the GUB logo in a position where the Lange & Söhne logo had been cut out.
