Hanhart "Sirius Automatic Chronograph", Movement No. C795, 40 mm, circa 2001
An aviator's automatic chronograph with 30 min. and 12h counter and date
Case: steel, glazed screw back, original buckle. Dial: silvered, engine-turned. Movm.: rotorwind movement, Glucydur balance.
Despite its restrained and functional appearance this aviator’s chronograph immediately catches the eye. The comfortable fit, the case, the fluted bezel, the pushers, the case back and the crown - the design of this timepiece is exceptionally striking. The chronograph pushers are positioned asymmetrically on the band, with the upper pusher for start/stop sitting further away from the crown than the lower (reset) one, which makes using the chronograph much easier even when the pilot wears gloves.
