A rare early quarter repeating pocket watch with Sully type frictional rest escapement. To the best of our knowledge this is the only existing pocket watch that combines a Sully type escapement with a striking mechanism.
Case: silver. Dial: enamel. Movm.: fine full plate movement, chain/fusee, Sully type frictional rest escapement with vertical escape wheel, three-arm brass balance.
