Case: 18k white gold, "Clous de Paris" decoration. Dial: two-tone silvered. Movm.: bridge movement, monometallic screw balance.
This extremely rare ultra-flat Audemars Piguet watch dating from the 1950s has a fabulous dial divided in quadrants and with slim gold reflective ornamental strips; there is an arrow marker at 6 o’clock and a dot at 12 o’clock.
The extra-flat calibre 2003 with a record-breaking thickness of only 1.64 mm was developed in 1995 and was at the time the flattest movement ever produced by any brand.
