Case: silver, rectangular, the top and sides engine-turned and translucent cobalt blue enamelled, engraved silver mountings; top with an oval silver enamel lid multi-coloured painted with a pastoral scene. Automaton mechanism: rectangular, full-plate, bellows, bird with moving wings and tail in front of a pierced and engraved brass plate.
