Case: brass. Dial: silvered. Movm.: brass movement, 64 mm, Arnold's spring detent escapement, bimetallic Z balance with 4 screws and 4 nuts, blued helical balance spring with both sides passing terminal curves.
A remarkable marine chronometer created by the famous maker John Roger Arnold (1769-1843), with an unusual power reserve indication that has no scale. The original wooden case unfortunately does not exist anymore.
