Blancpain "Villeret Tourbillon", Movement No. 640, Case No. 20/50, Ref. 6025-344255B, Cal. 25, 37 mm, circa 2006
A gentleman's extremely rare, automatic platinum wristwatch with tourbillon, date and power reserve indicator in mint condition - limited edition no. 20 of 50 pieces - with original box, guarantee card and accessories
Case: platinum, glazed push back, original platinum buckle. Dial: silvered, window for tourbillon cage. Movm.: pierced and engraved rotorwind movement, flying tourbillon regulator with polished steel arms, Glucydur screw balance.
An exquisite watch in a classic design – this model is one of a very small limited series of only 50 examples that were created with tourbillon movement, power reserve indication and a date at "9". Unlike most other timepieces with exposed tourbillon movement, this example has the tourbillon set at "12" and not at "6" as usual. The watch is actually a rare combination of tourbillon and carousel, where the axles of the balance and the carousel cage are not identical. The Blancpain "Villeret Tourbillon" is the perfect embodiment of elegance, technology and design.
