An extraordinary 'new old stock' vintage automotive wristwatch
Case: chromium-plated, steel push back. Dial: silvered. Movm.: rectangular movement, Glucydur screw balance.
A remarkable timepiece with an extremely curved back and thick faceted glass. Nevertheless, the slightly convex case fits the wrist perfectly. The watch has an unusually demure polished steel case that creates a striking contrast to the warm silvered dial and the rose gold indexes and hands.
Famous wearers of the Marvin watch were Ernesto "Che" Guevara (before he changed to Rolex watches) and five-time Formula One World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio.
