A very fine and rare Bavarian gold enamel verge pocket watch in a gilt protective case
Case: pink gold. Dial: enamel. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, chain/fusee, three-arm brass balance.
The rarity of the watch stems from the excellent condition of the enamel, no doubt due to the existence of the outer protective case. A very decorative and beautiful timepiece, which shows a polychrome enameled scene showing two lovers standing at a fancy black vase filled with gold paillon flowers.
