A decorative hour repeating carriage clock with half hour / hour self strike, calendar and alarm
Case: bronze, partly gilt, "Anglaise" case, profiled base and cornice with surrounding dentil patterns, the corners decorated with finely cast 3/4 columns with profiled bases and Corinthian capitals, handle with fluted middle part, facet glazed on all sides, button for repeating mechanism. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, aperture for moon phase and lunar calendar, signed, indications of the day, alarm and date, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: rectangular brass full plate movement, gilt, signed, keywind, 1 hammer / 1 gong, solid round movement pillars, 3 barrels for going train, hour strike and alarm, platform with lever escapement, monometallic screw balance.
