Case: 18k gold, engine-turned, à goutte numbered and signed gold dome with engraving, glazed movement. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, signed, blued Fleur-de-Lys hands. Movm.: bridge movement, frosted, gilt, signed, screwed gold chatons, wolfteeth winding wheels, pivoted detent chronometer escapement, gold screw compensation balance, gold escape wheel.

A. Huguenin & Fils was founded by Adolphe Huguenin in Le Locle the mid 19th century. Specialized in precision timepieces, Huguenin & Fils won various prizes at Observatory trials and participated also at the Philadelphia International Exhibition in 1876.
