A pocket chronometer with pivoted detent escapement and rare spherical balance spring - for the South American market. The movement of this watch is a precursor of Girard- Perregaux’ famous three-bridge movements.
Case: 18k gold, polished, à goutte, costly engraved gold dome. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, signed, gemstone-set arrow-shaped hands. Movm.: bridge movement, keywind, nickel-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, pink gold train, bimetallic chronometer balance with 2 regulation screw nuts, 2 screws and 2 trepezoidal weights, blued spherical balance spring, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
