This exceptional timepiece pays tribute to the three legendary medals of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, offering a sophisticated blend of gold, silver and bronze that encapsulates the essence of Paris 2024 in a timeless vintage aesthetic. Its design is reminiscent of a historic wristwatch from 1939, which was once equipped with the renowned 30T hand-wound calibre with small seconds.
The 39 mm case is crafted from Omega's exclusive bronze gold. The combination of mirror-polished and matt surfaces creates an attractive contrast. The crown is embossed with the vintage Omega logo. The dial, crafted from solid 925 silver, features a guilloché pattern at its centre, housed beneath the domed sapphire crystal. The small seconds at 6 o'clock, the brushed minute scale and the dark grey vintage Omega logo lend the dial historical authenticity.
The case back is engraved with 'BG 859'. This refers to the bronze gold used and the classic case shape. The signature is complemented by an embossed, matt medallion with a highly polished logo of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including the iconic Olympic rings. The timepiece is equipped with the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8926, a highly precise movement that ensures accuracy and reliability. This hand-wound movement offers a power reserve of 72 hours and is certified as a Master Chronometer by the METAS institute.
