<br>Ein Jahresläufer ist auch heute noch eine Herausforderung. So entwickelte die Manufaktur Mayr & Naeschke eine gegen Erschütterung und Staub extrem unempfindliche Uhr. Mit ganz normalem Gewicht wird ein gut regulierendes und Temperatur kompensierendes Sekundenpendel angetrieben. Die ruhende Drops-Hemmung ist eine Neuentwicklung von Matthias Naeschke, bei der die Reibungsverluste während des Hebungsvorganges erheblich reduziert wurde. Hier arbeitet eine ebene Fläche beim Zahn und eine gewölbte Hebungsfläche bei der kreisrunden Palette zusammen. Bedingt durch die Kapilarwirkung und dem wesentlich geringeren Druck sitzt das Öl immer dort, wo es auch hingehört.

A well-regulated and temperature-compensated seconds pendulum is driven by a normal weight.<br>The dead-beat Drops escapement was developed by the Matthias Naeschke company and significantly reduces friction losses during the lifting process. Here, a flat surface on the tooth works with a curved lifting surface on the circular pallet. Due to the capillary effect and the significantly lower pressure, the oil always stays where it belongs.
