The Vacheron & Constantin Reference 7590 was the brand’s answer to Patel Philippe’s Golden Ellipse. It is one of those elegant which were created in the 1960s and 1970s but are almost forgotten today. Typical of ref. 7590 is the elliptical 18 K gold case, reflecting the taste of the period and aimed at those who love an understated dress watch: flat lines, clear clear contours, and a distinctly restrained appearance. The two-hand dial exudes a minimalist elegance with Roman numerals, delicate leaf-shaped hands, and the Vacheron & Constantin logo at 12 o’clock.
The watch is powered by the ultra-flat manual-winding caliber 1003, which was introduced in 1955, refined with Geneva striping and bearing the Geneva Seal of quality. The watch is in excellent condition.
