This military flyback chronograph was manufactured by Heuer-Leonidas in Biel. The first version still features the "Leonidas" logo on the dial. It was produced in small series with the Valjoux calibre 222 as the predecessor to the Valjoux calibre 230. The chronographs by Heuer and Leonidas are similar only by first sight, they have the same stock no. (6645-12-146-3774) but are different in many details: shape of the case, distance of the pushers, winding mechanism, the cases are not interchangeable.
