Reference 151.021 is part of the legendary LANGE 1 range, which has been Lange’s flagship collection since its launch in 1994. The asymetric dial design with its off-centre time display and big date represents perfect visual harmony and guarantees perfect readability because the displays don’t overlap – an aesthetic masterpiece, that makes this timepiece one-of-a-kind.
The watch dates from 1996 and is an early example of reference 151.021, which was first released in December 1995 with a gold bracelet. It features lugs fitted with a fixed, fully integrated, solid gold Wellendorff bracelet bearing the "LANGE" signature on the clasp. The Wellendorff jewelry manufactory was founded in 1893 in Pforzheim. The connection between A. Lange & Söhne and Wellendorff goes back to Walter Lange, who spent several years working in the company’s jewelry department during his time in Pforzheim.
