Patek Philippe‘s white gold Calatrava reference 5022 with black dial is a fine example of the timelessly elegant Calatrava range. With a sober yet very refined design the model has great appeal to lovers of traditional dress watches.
Reference 5022’s 33 mm case is magnificently finished in exquisite 18 K white gold. The stepped bezel and the slim lugs emphasise the classic style of this Calatrava. The black dial features an elaborate guilloche pattern, which lends the watch a particular finesse. Applied white gold Roman numerals and a wide contrasting silver minute track create a bold visual effect. Inside Patek Philippe‘s reference 5022 runs manual-wound calibre 215 PS, which is famous for its accuracy and exquisite finishing. At a frequency of 28,800 halfbeats per hour and a 44-hour power reserve the movement guarantees supreme reliability.
Patek Philippe reference 5022, was launched in 1997 and remained in production up until 2003 - the model was available in white, yellow and pink gold, as well as in platinum. This piece dating from 1998 is in very good condition.
