Patek Philippe‘s Gondolo Cabriolet, reference 5099 was introduced in 1999 and remained in production until 2008. The watch is named "Cabriolet" because of the spring lid, which opens through two lateral pushers. The beautiful design of this timepiece is inspired by the timepieces of the 1920s and 1930s.
Reference 5099 comes in a square, two-coloured 28 x 28 mm 18 K white and pink gold case. Opening the lid reveals a magnificent salmon-coloured dial with Arabic numerals, small second at 6 o’clock and elegant black leaf hand. The condition of the watch is nearly as new and offers an excellent opportunity to acquire a remarkable timepiece outside the classical design lexicon, that is also getting rarer all the time.
