BreitlingChrono-Matic 24H
A limited-edition flyback wrist chronograph in practically new condition, with 24-hour display and date - CHRONOMETER
Sold
Breitling revived on of their most remarkable 20th century timepieces – the Chrono-Matic - in the middle of the noughties. The launch of a limited edition of 1,000 pieces in 2006 presented a watch that came in a 45 mm case inspired by the design of the Chrono-Matic range of the 1970s and fits the wrist perfectly. The case comes with a crown on the left, reminiscent of the original position of the crown which used to be the distinctive feature of the range. The dial also emphasises the watch’s historic charm: An outer slide rule connected to the bidirectional bezel, high-contrast black colouring with attractive red accents, as well as two subdials and a date window at 6 o’clock.
The Chrono-Matic features an unusual and distinctive 24-hour dial, i.e., the hour hand revolves only once per day instead of twice. The automatic, chronometer-certified Breitling calibre 22LC guarantees the accuracy of the timekeeping, while also allowing for a chronograph flyback function.
