In 1988 the submariner reference 16610 was launched with the new calibre 3135. This timepiece features a steel and gold combination (reference 16613), for which Rolex created the designation Rolesor. The combination was first created in the 1930s, and emphasises the typical features such as bezel, winding crown and bracelet perfectly.
This timepiece is in very good condition. At over 30 years of age, the case is still very well preserved, as is the bezel. Dial and hands bear a tritium coat and have acquired a beautiful patina. The movement starts immediately, we nevertheless recommend a service, as the silver hairspring is still present.
