Following the limited edition of the "Wempe Armband Chronometer" in 1997 and the limited edition of the "Wempe Pilot's Watch" in 2001, a gold chronograph limited to 30 pieces with a hand-wound movement and an enamel dial with a red "12" was presented in 2003 to mark the company's 125th anniversary. The basis for this special edition was the discovery of thirty enamel dials dating back to the 1920s and 1930s, which Wempe used for this chronograph. Large Arabic numerals, a red "12", and an outer minute track ensure excellent legibility. The two subdials are slightly recessed along the axis of the central hands. The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the column-wheel chronograph movement with hand-engraved, pink-gilt bridges from the 1950s.
