This prestigious hunter watch comes in an 18 K gold case with decorations in the style of "Professor Graff". Both sides show an oval cartouche each featuring a rampant lion surrounded by volutes and leaf garlands. The cartouches are framed by oak leaves. Edges, band, pendant and bow are ornamented with an ornamental ribbon with geometric pattern.

Among the many different Glashuette case forms, those by Professor Graff were the most elaborate and costly pieces.
Professor Carl Ludwig Theodor Graff (1844-1906), Privy Councilor, was in 1875 professor and managing director at the Royal School of Arts and Crafts of Dresden. His designs were inspired by renaissance-style architecture.
