In 1975 the United States of America and the Soviet Union carried out their first joint space mission. An Apollo spacecraft docked with a Soyus capsule in Orbit on July 17, so that the crews could move between the spacecrafts. The mission marked a turning point in the hitherto strictly separate rival space programs of the two super powers. This watch celebrates the 35th anniversary of this historical event. The materials used are remarkable.
The most distinctive feature of the watch is the meteorite dial. For its creation, the meteorite is cut into thin slices which then undergo a chemical procedure to emphasise the unique structure of the stone. This means than no watch is like another.
