Outer case - 14 K rose gold, "repoussé" decoration depicting a mythological scene, pierced around the edges, monogram "TC". Inner case - 14 K rose gold, smooth, with circular sound holes and floral engravings, movement protection cap.

The watch was produced in Friedberg. Josef Bauer, however, spelled his name backwards (Ruab) and added the designation "London" to his signature like an English maker would, to achieve a higher sales price.
In addition to Bauer, there were another 24 makers in Friedberg at the time whose names (spelled backwards) can be found with a fake designation such as London, Paris or Augsburg.
