According to Jürgen Abeler’s records, Wilhelm Friedrich Busch was christened in 1687 and became a citizen of Hamburg in 1721. His brother Abraham Albert Busch, who was 11 years older, only received the Hamburg citizenship in 1708. We know of only few pocket watches made by the two brothers.
