The Datejust continues in the tradition of the classic Datejust dating from 1945 and possesses the same fine beauty as its legendary role model. The original Datejust was the first automatic and waterproof wrist chronometer with date indication on the display; readability was greatly improved by the cyclops magnification introduced in 1953.
This Datejust model is in overall well looked after condition; a special feature is the delicately shimmering silvered tapestry dial with its beautiful vertical stripes. This gives it a very lively appearance and makes it shimmer in different shades of silver depending on the incidence of light.
