An extremely rare and very attractive vintage Geneva wrist chronograph with Exotic-Reverse-Panda Dial, 30 min. and 12h counter, full calendar, moon phase and tachy bezel

There is no doubt that the Tri-Compax is the most iconic watch the company Universal Genève ever produced; the model was first introduced in 1944. The case is similar in looks to the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 6241 - with its black tachy bezel as well as the round chronograph pushers that are not screwed. Even the black dial with the silvered auxiliary dials resembles that of the Cosmograph Daytona.
This incredibly rare chronograph in an iconic, one-of-a-kind design is in marvellous vintage condition albeit with a little bracelet stretch. Even though this is a rare trophy for the discerning collector.
