A rare, attractive vintage wristwatch with chronograph, full calendar and moon phase

This elegant timepiece has a 18 K rose gold case with gently curved lugs. They are matched by the applied indexes and the Arabic "12" as well as the rose gold hands – in striking contrast to the blue date indication at the outer rim of the dial and the blue moon phase. Both calendar windows show the day of the month and the month in English. Inside is the manual wind Valjoux 88 calibre is the successor of the calibres Valjoux 22 and 72. It was regularly used by many brands and is one of the most complex versions because of the additional calendar and the moon phase display. The production ran from 1947 to 1974 and in total approximately 13,000 timepieces were manufactures.
