The "Foudrayante" by Girard-Perregaux is an automatic split-seconds chronograph, with coaxial pushpieces and jumping seconds. The fractions of seconds can be red more easily as the hand makers one revolution of the dial every second, imperceptibly dividing it into 1/8 of a second. It is equipped with its own barrel, which gives it a six-hour power reserve.
