The rare hexagonal wrist chronograph Cortina was created as a special winter sports model in 1977. Heuer named the watch after Italian town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, known for its beautiful skiing trails. Between 1977 and the begin of the 1980s two different Cortina ranges were produced. The first series was available with either black or white dial.
This model features a black dial with plain luminous indexes, white hands with slightly darkened luminous material. The date is displayed in a window at 6 o’clock. The watch is powered by automatic calibre Buren/Heuer 12. The watch has been worn but is in overall excellent condition with original steel bracelet and the Heuer logo signed on the winding crown.
