This attractive style icon was launched at the Basel watch and jewellery fair by Parisian designer Serge Manzon (1935-1998), and is a piece of a 20-part range he created for Longines. The case is larger in size than the movement and worn on the wrist with a heavy leather strap like a belt buckle. The gently curved case fits comfortably on the wrist. The square watch has a brown mirror dial with cross lines.

Serge Manzon (1935-1998) began his career in the early 1950s as visual artist and film producer. He later turned to designing and created furniture, jewellery, fashion accessories and watches.
