Breitling launched the Chrono-Matic in 1969; it was one of the first automatic chronographs, calibre 12 and had a distinctive edgy design. The unusual oval case shape and the oval sub dials created an attractive vintage look. The blue dial features many beautiful and interesting details. The light blue bar-shaped hour and minute hands, the orange-coloured chronograph hands, the wide silver-coloured hour markers in combination with the yellow pulsometer scale and the white tachy scale are a sight to behold.
