18 K gold, the back cover with coat of arms and motto: "Je Tiendrai" (I will hold), inlaid Roman enamel numerals, case maker's punch mark "AS" (Alfred Stram), gold dome with dedication engraving: "Sydney from Imogen, 24th Feb. 1916".
