This is a beautiful hunting case pocket watch with minute repeater and chronograph in a smooth rose gold case. The white enamel dial has Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and Louis XVI hands. A pusher at "2" starts, stops and resets the chronograph; a pusher at "6" releases the minute repeater, where the two hammers strike on two different gongs. Swiss patent no. 334 was one of Barbezat-Baillot's most important inventions and included the use of centrifugal force for the repeater mechanism.
