A very rare vintage wrist chronograph Mark 1 with "Reverse Panda" dial in a compressor case. The 2446C is a second generation, manual-wind Autavia - with original box, original guarantee and additional original steel bracelet

The Heuer Autavia was introduced in 1962, and production continued into the mid-1980s, with almost 90 models being offered. The shape of the case as well as the dials were updated occasionally.
This Mark 1 model was introduced in 1968 and has an earlier case with compressor snap back and smaller teeth on the bezel. It features a black dial with white registers, polished steel hands with luminous inserts and a white chronograph second hand.
This charismatic sports chronograph is in beautiful authentic condition with signs of wear due to its age; the dial with applied steel indexes and the original steel hands with softly darkened luminous material is particularly attractive. The watch received a maintenance service at TAG Heuer in August 2023.
