The wrist alarm watch Top Timer was launched in the 1970s in two versions: The brown and gold version and this steel version with a blue and grey dial. The company chose to fit the watch with a foreign movement and selected a flagship movement: Calibre AS 5008 created by Adolph Schild in Grenchen/Switzerland, a movement consisting of 180 individual elements which had not only an alarm function but also other complications: The indications for day of the week and date operate with a quickset function. The stop-seconds function slows setting the watch accurately to an acoustic time signal.
