Lothar Rodewald was born on April 28, 1891, he lived in the town of Pasewalk; he attended the watchmaking school at Glashütte during the 1910/11 term as student no. 888, the work recorded for him is as follows: 1 (pocket-) lever escapement watch, open with 45 lines, 1 chronoscope and an astatic needle pair.
It is worth noting that Lothar Rodewald followed in his father’s footsteps when choosing his trade; his father was a master watchmaker and member of the examination board at Glashuette.
