An attractive verge pocket watch with multifunctional dial

The white enamel dial is decorated with delicate, multi-coloured flower tendrils and has seven displays: regulation scale at 12, a date ring at 1, the day of the week and the planets associated to the days at 4 o’clock, an off-centre hour ring with Arabic numerals at 6 o’clock, phases of the moon and its age at 8 and a chapter ring for the months at 11 o’clock. In the centre is a small chapter ring for the seconds display.
