<br>Audemars Piguet ist heute vor allem für seine sportliche Ikone Royal Oak bekannt, hat aber in den 1970er Jahren eine Vielzahl von "Dresswatches" kreiert, klassisch elegante, flache Armbanduhren, die vor allem zu besonderen Anlässen getragen wurden.<br>Das vorliegende Modell misst nur 6 mm in der Höhe und wurde so konzipiert, dass es ein noch flacheres Handaufzugswerk, das historische Kaliber 2001, aufnehmen konnte. Audemars Piguet teilt sich dieses ultraflache Werk mit Jaeger-LeCoultre (Kaliber 818) und Vacheron Constantin (Kaliber 1001). Das minimalistische Zifferblatt ist guillochiert, sein Streifenmuster wiederholt sich auf der Lünette und auf dem integrierten Milanaise-Armband aus 18 Karat Weißgold.

This model is only 6 mm high and was designed to house the ultra-flat manual wind movement, the iconic calibre 2001. Audemars Piguet shared this extrenely flat movement with Jaeger-LeCoultre (calibre 818) and Vacheron Constantin (calibre 1001). The minimalist dial has a guilloche stripe pattern which is repeated on the bezel and the integrated 18 K white gold Milanaise bracelet.
