This timepiece is the embodiment of early Parmigiani watches. The milling pattern on the bezel has been typical fort he brand since the beginning. The chronograph is powered by a Zenith El Primero movement, calibre 400Z, which has been further refined by Parmigiani and features a gold rotor with abundant guilloche ornamentation. The movement is considered one of the best vintage chronograph movements of all times.
The blue colour of the dial is reminiscent of juniper berries and makes this wrist chronograph breathtakingly attractive, in particular with the constrasting black subdials. The dial is ornamented with a central guilloche pattern and the date window with beautifully curved Arabic numerals sits between "1" and "2". During the official mourning period after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II. King Charles regularly wore his Parmigiani Fleurier Toric chronograph. He has also been wearing a Toric for other public occasions.
