Both patents stamped in the movement were granted to Charles Rosat: Swiss Patent No. 21639 = Coq avec piton porte-spiral mobile and No. 24677 = Dispositif régulateur pour raquette montée sur un porte-spiral pouvant tourner autour de l'axe du balancier.
A medallion showing two female heads in profile is set into the back of the watch: The front female figure is the city goddess of Zurich, the back Helvetia as a symbol for Switzerland, designed by A. Boesch and hallmarked and engraved by Holy Frères.

Charles Rosat (1874-1930) from Le Locle, was one of the great regleurs of his time. In "La montre suisse" the reports of the Neuchâtel Observatory list him as regleur for the watches of P. Ditisheim, P. Buhré, Favre-Jacot/Zenith, P.D. Nardin and Albert Pellaton-Favre. He probably spent most of his career at Zenith, where he was head of the Boudry branch.
