Many versions of the Autavia chronograph have been produced over the years, with this model being the most beautiful of them. The 42 mm case is 15 mm high and features recessed pushers and a black, revolving bezel with minute (M) and hour (H) displays. The glossy black dial has lead-coloured chronograph counters and a date display on silver-coloured ground. The watch is powered by automatic calibre Buren/Heuer 12 dating from 1984.
The watch has been worn but is in excellent overall condition. Hands, dial and revolving bezel are original, the luminous mass of hands and indexes however, has become a little brittle over the years. All in all, this is certainly a marvellous collector’s piece.
