An extremely rare and very attractive Geneva wristwatch with perpetual calender, retrograde date, leap year indication, moon phase and Roman numerals - with original box and integrated watchwinder, leather wallet, brochures, original certificate, setting pin and additional solid 18 K gold screw back

The first models of Patek Philippe's reference 5050 in 1993 were produced as a yellow gold version only, to be followed by the full range in 1995: yellow gold, white gold, pink gold, and platinum. Reference 5050 was the first Patek Philippe perpetual calendar wristwatch with a retrograde date. When the reference was first shown in 1993, this complication went more or less unnoticed. However, when the watch was discontinued in 2002 this became a sought-after complication.
Reference 5050 comes in two versions; one with applied baton indexes and phase of the moon, which features a circular sub dial with the letters "Automatic", and the original version with applied radial Roman numerals and a fan-shaped opening for the moon phase, such as this model.
This wristwatch is in excellent condition. It comes as a full set with solid case back, integrated watch winder and setting pin.
