A very fine and extremely rare minute repeating Portugieser wristwatch with chronograph, perpetual calendar and moon phase, produced in a limited edition of only 100 pieces - with original box, operating instructions, booklet, guarantee card, original blank certificate, cleaning cloth and additional brand-new IWC alligator leather strap with gold stitching (original price EUR 1920,-).

The IWC Portugieser Grande Complication is a masterpiece of haute horology and combines breathtaking complications with the timeless elegance of the Portugieser range.
A slide on the left releases the minute repetition and indicates the time (hour, quarter hour and minute) by sound. The perpetual calendar shows day, date, month, year and moon phase. This engineering marvel automatically calculates the different lengths of the months as well as the leap years, which avoids the need for manual adjustment over years. The integrated chronograph gives accurate time reading and has subtle displays for seconds, minutes and hours, with the functionality of adding up stop times.
The IWC Portugieser Grande Complication represents the spirit of the Portuguese seamen, which is also indicated by the engraving on the back of the pink gold case. A sextant, another essential tool of nautical navigation points to this spiritual connection.
