LITTLE LANGE 1

A very fine and very rare pink gold Glashuette wristwatch with power reserve indicator, Lange oversize date, twin barrel and 72 hours power reserve - with original box, operating instructions, guarantee certificate and setting pin. This watch was revised in April 2021

The KLEINE LANGE 1 (small Lange 1) comes with a case, that, at 36,1 mm, is considerably smaller than the "normal" LANGE 1. Reference 111.032 was only in production for a few years from 1998. Its most distinctive feature is the distribution of the displays, which makes for optimal readability, as they do not overlap. The design of the LANGE 1 has a clear concept: The centre points of small second, main dial and large date constitute the form of a trangle. The proportions of the large date display are also well balanced and represent the golden ratio. The design is inspired by Johann Christian Friedrich Gutkaes' Five-Minute clock in the Semper Opera House in Dresden.
